A 2‑Day Leadership Foundations Workshop
Lead With Intention
Lead With Intention is L2R’s foundational leadership experience. It helps participants understand leadership as a historically situated, theory‑informed, and personally practiced capability—and leave with a Personal Leadership Philosophy to guide future growth.
This Is Not a Leadership Seminar
Lead With Intention is not about traits, tips, or techniques. It is a structured developmental experience designed to help participants think differently about leadership—and themselves.
Experience → Meaning → Theory → Self → Context → Philosophy
What Participants Experience
Lead With Intention is designed as a developmental experience, not a seminar. Participants engage in:
- Examining leadership as it existed before theory, grounded in history, place, and real consequences—before abstract definitions are introduced.
- Understanding how leadership theories emerged and learning to use them as thinking tools, not prescriptions or personality labels.
- Developing self‑awareness around leadership strengths, tendencies, and limits, especially how behavior is experienced under pressure.
- Exploring ethics, responsibility, and values in practice, with attention to how leadership decisions affect others when tradeoffs are real.
- Learning to lead across generational and contextual differences, using context as a lens rather than relying on stereotypes or assumptions.
- Creating a personal leadership philosophy that integrates learning, experience, reflection, and responsibility—and can evolve over time.
Leadership Is Human—Before It Is Technical
At the center of leadership is emotional intelligence. Leaders must understand how their actions are experienced by others, especially across generational differences and lived contexts.
AI can analyze data.
Leadership requires judgment, empathy, and accountability.
